Directions to Martys Place in Marloth Park
Traveling from Johannesburg or Pretoria via Witbank.
From Witbank, stay on the N4 east until you get to Nelspruit +- 220 kilometres from Witbank.
When approaching Nelspruit you can stay on the N4 bypassing Nelspruit towards Malelane and Komatipoort.
The next toll gate is at Watervalboven
Just past the toll gate take the left fork in the road via Schoemanskloof, the other route has “stop and go” points where road construction is underway.
After travelling through the mountains turn left at the T-junction and drive through more mountains till Malelane. (another toll gate just before Malelane)
As you enter Malelane (the first robot) there is a large shopping center on your left behind the garage which has a Shoprite and Spar should you want to stop for last minute shopping. It is also wise to refuel at this point. Otherwise go straight through Malelane.
From Malelane, the first Marloth Park turnoff sign is 28km. This leads onto a 4km gravel road. Rather pass this turnoff and travel 4km further to the second turnoff where you will turn left.
From the second turnoff to Marloth Park travel 9km on tar road to the main gate.
At the gate the security guard will ask you to fill in the visitor’s book.
Travel at maximum speed of 50km/h for 4,5km on Olifants road which is tar road
(be on the lookout for animals),
pass the road named Butterfly Street
(street name is on your right)
and take the next gravel road turnoff to the right
This signage will be on your left where you need to turn right
Follow the gravel road
Turn right into Geelslang Road
Drive slowly and be on the lookout for wild animals
Keep left where the road splits
Continue with the gravel road till you see the Martys Place sign
